McKesson Central Line Dressing Change Tray
Everything you need to change your PICC line dressing* is included in the McKesson Central Line Dressing Change Tray. It is a special bandage that keeps your catheter site dry and clean by blocking germs. The dressing should be changed once a week. If it becomes loose, wet, or dirty, you must replace it as soon as possible.
Each tray is sterilized and packaged tray components in the order of use, for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Which will help reduce costs and promotes standardized procedures. This will encourage you to keep consistent product usage and adherence to the protocol your nurse has instructed.

Because a PICC is placed in one of your arms and changing the dressing requires two hands, it is best to have someone assist you with the dressing change. Your nurse will show you how to change your dressing. Allow the person assisting you to observe and listen to the nurse's or technician's instructions.
